Longmorn 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was established in 1897 and is often called a distiller's malt, because its spirit plays such a large part in prestigious blends. This whisky was aged for sixteen years in oak casks.
The nose has ripe orchard fruit, notably baked apples and pears, with delicate floral notes and sweet vanilla. On the palate it is creamy, with toffee, milk chocolate, ginger and cinnamon over a lasting malty sweetness. The finish is long, echoing the fruit and spice, with a light trace of oak.
