A 17 year old Longmorn from Speyside, bottled by Bartels Whisky Ltd. for its Highland Laird series. It is a single cask whisky at 53.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in 2008 and matured throughout in a first fill Oloroso butt, then bottled in 2026. The cask yielded 455 bottles. It is not smoky, and it is bottled without chill-filtering or added colour.
On the nose, raisins and roasted walnuts meet the sweetness of Oloroso sherry. The palate is full and robust, with cinnamon, cloves and a touch of orange peel. The finish is long, with hints of coffee and dark chocolate.
