This is a 19 year old Speyside Longmorn from Signatory Vintage, part of the Symington's Choice range and the Cask Strength Collection. It matured from 2005 to 2024 in a single first-fill oloroso sherry butt, which gave 619 bottles.
The nose brings dark berries, dried plum and apricot jam, with a touch of candy floss. The palate is buttery with ginger, dark fruit compote, dates and black cherry. The finish is medium-long and semi-sweet, with blackberry and cherry candy, a hint of liquorice and fig jam.
