This Longmorn is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2000 by Scott's Selection, after 30 years in sherry casks. Longmorn has been distilling since 1894. It was bottled at natural cask strength, 57.2%, without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose has dried fruits, dark chocolate, polished oak, cinnamon and nutmeg, with hints of leather and old furniture. The palate is full-bodied with a strong sherry influence: raisins, figs and dates alongside dark toffee, roasted nuts and baking spices. The finish is very long and warming, with oak tannins, dried fruit sweetness and a touch of tobacco.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
