A 21 year old peated single malt from Longrow, the smoky style made at the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. It is the oldest whisky ever released under the Longrow name.
It was aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks.
The nose is rich and meaty with smoke, dried beef, salted popcorn and caramel. The palate is creamy, almost oily, with dark fruit and prunes, smoke in the background and a turn towards citrus. The finish is velvety and ashy.
