Longrow Peated comes from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, where Longrow is the name given to the heavily peated malt. It makes up about 10% of the distillery's output. The name comes from the original Longrow distillery, which operated in Campbeltown between 1824 and 1896.
The malt is peated to around 55 ppm, and the colour is light gold.
The nose brings chimney soot, sea water and driftwood. The palate turns mineral, with salted lemons, olives, butter and passion fruit.
