Longrow Red is a 12 year old single malt from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, bottled at 52.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This edition is limited to 9,000 bottles.
The whisky spent eleven years in Bourbon casks, followed by a final year in fresh Pinot Noir barriques.
The nose shows lush cherry, ripe mango and a little nutmeg. Rich cherry and smooth chocolate meet earthy peat on the palate, and the finish is long and smoky, with traces of sweet coffee.
