A 43 year old single grain whisky from the North of Scotland distillery, bottled at 57% as Lord of Speyside. The site was founded in 1957 as a brewery, was converted into a distillery and closed in 1980. Malt whisky made there carried the name Strathmore.
The nose opens with butterscotch and sweet caramel, joined by cinnamon, vanilla, a little coconut and sweet mocha. The palate is very creamy and full in the mouth.
