Los Siete Misterios Ensamble is a mezcal made from two agaves, Espadin and Cuishe, bottled at 44% vol in a 70cl bottle.
The brand was founded in 2011 by the brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre. It is made from the sugars of ripe agave and produced by traditional methods: the agave is cooked in underground ovens, fermentation happens naturally, and the spirit is distilled twice in handmade clay pots.
Each release is a batch, and flavour and strength can vary slightly from one batch to the next. The batch number, vintage and bottle number appear on the label.
