Louis Roederer Brut Blanc de Blancs 2019 Champagne

A vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne from Louis Roederer, made entirely from Chardonnay. About 80 percent of the wine is vinified in steel and the remaining 20 percent in oak casks, without malolactic fermentation. It then matures on its lees for at least 60 months before disgorgement. Pale straw with slight green reflections and a very fine, persistent mousse. The nose combines yellow-fleshed fruit, lemon, saffron, toasted almond and yeasty notes. The palate is precise and direct, clean and appealing, with a strong mineral thread, and it finishes long.
