Louis Roederer Brut Blanc de Blancs 2019 Champagne

A vintage Brut Blanc de Blancs from Champagne house Louis Roederer, made entirely from chardonnay. After harvest, 80% of the wine is vinified in steel and the remaining 20% in oak casks, without malolactic fermentation. It then matures on its lees for at least 60 months before disgorgement. Pale straw with slight green reflections and a very fine, persistent mousse. The nose brings yellow-fleshed fruit, lemon, saffron, toasted almond and yeasty notes. The palate is precise and direct, clean and appealing, with a marked mineral streak and a long finish.
