Louis Roederer Brut Nature Rosé 2018 by Philippe Starck

This is a vintage 2018 Brut Nature rosé Champagne from Louis Roederer, made as a limited edition in collaboration with the designer Philippe Starck. It is part of a series of editions intended to show the 2018 vintage in a pure, direct way. No dosage is added after the second fermentation, so the wine rests on fruit and terroir alone, giving a taut, precise style. The nose shows green apple, ripe citrus and white flowers, with brioche, hazelnut and flint emerging with air. The palate is incisive and dry, with lively acidity and a mineral, saline character. The finish stays saline, with candied citrus and fine almonds.
