Louis Roederer Collection

Collection is a Champagne from Louis Roederer, built on a recent base vintage with older reserve wines added for depth. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from many parcels, split evenly across the Vallée de la Marne, Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. It is fermented and aged on the bottle for at least three years, with a dosage of about 8 g per litre. The generous share of Chardonnay brings ripe peach and apricot with a creamy edge, while the two Pinots add structure, dryness and crispness. Honey, vanilla, almonds and toasted bread appear on the finish. It is fresh and fine enough for an aperitif and also works well with food.
