Luc Belaire Rosé (75cl, 12.5%)

Luc Belaire Rosé is a French sparkling rosé at 12.5% ABV, in a 75cl black bottle with pink-accented foil. It is the wine the Belaire range was built on, from a house established in 1898. The grapes are grown in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur: 90% Syrah, 5% Grenache and 5% Cinsault. A dosage of 100% Syrah gives the deep pink colour, and six months in steel tanks by the Charmat method keeps it fresh and fruit-forward, with 25 g/L of residual sugar. The bouquet is rich in red fruit, with strawberry and blackcurrant on the palate. It is refreshing rather than overly sweet, with fine, persistent bubbles and a smooth, elegant finish.
