The Holiday Toast Double Oak is a barrel-proof Kentucky straight bourbon from Lucky Seven Spirits, bottled at 57.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mashbill is 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malted barley. The bourbon is first aged in new charred American oak barrels, then given a second maturation in heavily toasted new American oak barrels.
The nose is led by caramel, orange blossom and toasted vanilla. The palate brings toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, Christmas cake and nutmeg, with cherry and raspberry pastry notes and a touch of mint chocolate. The finish is long, moving from gingerbread and pipe tobacco to light spearmint.
