A Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG from Vite Colte, made from selected Barbera grapes grown in the Piedmont hills. Ageing in oak casks gives it a well-defined structure, with lively acidity and soft tannins. The wine shows mature cherry, plum, black pepper and liquorice aromas, with freshness and savouriness on the palate and a persistent finish. It suits red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
