Lustau Murillo Pedro Ximénez Sherry (50cl)

This is a sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry from the house of Lustau, made in Jerez in Andalusia in a 50cl bottle. It comes entirely from Pedro Ximénez grapes, which are dried in the sun to concentrate their natural sugars. The sherry is aged in a solera and criaderas system. The nose offers dried fruit and sweet spice. On the palate it is velvety and full-bodied, with notes of dried figs, raisins, caramel and honey, kept in check by a fresh note. It suits dark chocolate desserts and blue cheeses, and can also be sipped on its own.
