Lusty Claw is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled from corn and malted barley and aged for a minimum of three years in charred new American oak. It is chill-filtered and bottled in Florida by Florida Caribbean Distillers, with an eagle-head cork stopper.
The nose is vanilla and toasted oak with toffee and light dark fruit. The palate is smooth, with caramel and honey, then baking spice and restrained oak. The finish is medium, with gentle tannic dryness, toffee and a touch of spice.
