Luxardo Maraschino Originale is a cherry liqueur made from Maraska cherries picked from Luxardo's own trees. The fruit is distilled and aged for two years, then the strength is adjusted and the liqueur is rounded off with honey.
The recipe goes back to 1821. The taste is mild and complex, with clear cherry notes. It can be drunk neat or over ice, and it is used in many cocktails and mixed drinks.
