M&H Classic is the flagship single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel's first whisky distillery, founded in 2014. It is bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks, red-wine STR casks (shaved, toasted and re-charred) and a small amount of virgin oak, in the heat of Tel Aviv.
The nose shows red apple, mandarin, nectarine and peach over beeswax and floral notes. The palate is oak-led but polished, with nutmeg, clove, honey and light pepper. The finish dries on spice and oak, with the apple note returning at the end.
