Mac-Talla Flavourscapes Fluran (70cl, 53.8%)

Fluran is a single malt from Islay, bottled by Morrison Distillers for the Mac-Talla Flavourscapes series at 53.8% in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and has not been chill-filtered. The series is a collaboration between Mac-Talla and the artist Marzia Sileno, who turns the flavour of each whisky into a picture. Fluran is Gaelic for blossom. The tasting notes describe a buttercup-yellow whisky, bright and crisp, with sweet spring blossom, honeysuckle and lively citrus fruits, and a gentle hint of campfire smoke in the background.
