This is Flora, an Islay single malt from the Mac-Talla range by Morrison Distillers, bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in 70% sherry casks, both oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, and 30% bourbon casks. It has natural colour and no chill filtration, and it won a silver medal at the IWSC 2025.
The nose is fragrant, with ripe floral notes and aromatic wood spice. On the palate come delicate heather, soft peat smoke and nutty undertones.
