Mac-Talla Red Wine Cask is a limited edition Islay single malt from the Morrison family, who chose a Gaelic name meaning echo for the brand. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.8% ABV. The whisky was matured entirely in French oak casks that previously held red wine from Bordeaux. The result pairs a fresh, smoky Islay character with the fruitiness of the wine.
