Mac-Talla Terra is an Islay single malt from the Morrison family, who owned Bowmore distillery until 1994. Mac-Talla means 'echo' in Gaelic, a reference to the family's link with Islay. Terra means 'earth'. It is bottled at 46% ABV, with no added caramel colour and no chill-filtration. The nose brings citrus, smoked barley and sea air. On the palate there is clear bonfire smoke and sea spray.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
