The nose brings ripe apple, dried apricot, orange peel, nutmeg, a touch of fennel and deep oak. The palate has dark chocolate, dried figs, baking spices, burnt caramel and subtle smoke, with a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is medium to long, with toasted almonds, leathery notes and a gentle warmth.
