This is a Speyside single malt from Macallan, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2002 at 11 years old by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It was matured in a sherry cask and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, in its original Signatory gift tin.
The nose is sherried and classic in style, with dried fruits, toffee, orange peel and soft oak. The palate is smooth and rounded, with raisins, sultanas, caramel, gentle spice and malty sweetness. The finish is medium in length, warming and sweet, with lingering sherry, oak and soft spice.
