This is the Macallan 12 Year Old, a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes in a tin decorated with an Easter Elchies House design, in the style of the original 1990s packaging.
The nose offers dried fruit, citrus zest and subtle wood smoke. The palate has sherried raisins, sweet vanilla and gentle spice, and the finish is lingering, with oak, toffee and dark chocolate.
