Macallan 18 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt matured in American and sherry oak casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has ripe fruits, dried dates and strawberries, with vanilla, ginger, creamy toffee, nutmeg and soft citrus. On the palate, sweet spices warm the start before chocolate and dark fruits coat the middle, with sultana, raisin, caramel and soft ginger. The lingering finish brings orange, sweet spices, golden honey and a soft woody note.
