This is a 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan in Speyside, presented in a hand-blown Tudor Crystal decanter. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl size.
The whisky was distilled in 1965, matured in sherry casks and bottled around 1990.
Ripe orchard apples, apricots and dark cherries meet cinnamon, thyme and toasted oak on the nose. The palate brings honeyed figs, dark chocolate, nutmeg and sweet malt with a creamy texture, and the finish is spiced vanilla and roasted hazelnut with a velvety warmth.
