This is a Macallan single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1980 and bottled in 1998 at 18 years old. It was matured in sherry casks and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Notes of ripe figs and candied orange peel lead on the nose, followed by dark chocolate and spiced apple on the palate. The finish is medium to long, with dried fruit and a little cinnamon.
