This Macallan 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2004. It was matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers sun-dried apricots, ripe cherries and subtle oak. The palate is dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and toffee, and the finish brings refined warmth with a mild, spicy sweetness.
