A 33 year old Speyside single malt from The Macallan, distilled in 1989 and bottled by the independent bottler Blackadder at 57.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
This is Statement 53, a name Blackadder keeps for casks it considers its very best. The Statement range sits above the Raw Cask series, and the bottling is independent rather than an official Macallan release.
