Macallan 25 Year Old Anniversary Malt 1975 is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1975 and bottled in 2000, after 25 years in sherry casks. It is a limited edition at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is bright and fruity, with ripe peach, dried apricot and red berries, plus cinnamon, clove and seasoned oak. The palate leads with rich caramel and dark chocolate, with a hint of almond and a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long, with toasted oak and warm vanilla.
