Macallan 25 Year Old Sherry Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky from the 2023 release, matured for twenty-five years in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain.
It has a deep mahogany colour and a long finish. The nose brings dried orange slices, raisins, sultanas and apricot, lifted by ginger syrup and oak. On the palate are black cherries, chocolate, crystallised ginger and toasted almonds, and the finish carries dried fruits, dark chocolate and warming oak.
