Macallan 30 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt matured in selected sherry oak casks. This blue-label edition was bottled between the late 1990s and early 2000s, before the introduction of the Fine Oak series, at 43% ABV.
The nose brings dark chocolate, dried fruit and vanilla. Sweetness on the palate is joined by oak, nutmeg and fig, with gentle spice and smooth caramel. The finish is long and smooth, leaving lingering fruit.
