Macallan 52 Year Old from the 1950 Fine & Rare series is a single malt distilled in 1950 and matured for 52 years in a single sherry butt. The notes describe a nose of rich citrus lemons and peat smoke, with a forward floral character that is almost perfumed. On the palate come lemons and smoky peat with light wood, and the finish pairs tropical fruit sweetness with drying peat smoke.
