Macallan Classic Cut 2019 Release is a Speyside single malt bottled in 2019 at 52.9% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Part of its character comes from ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The nose shows ripe oranges, dried apricots and red currants. On the palate there are honeyed spices, dark chocolate and toasted almonds, and the finish is lingering, with sweet vanilla and gentle nutmeg.
