Macallan – Classic Cut 2020 Release (70cl, 55%)

This is the 2020 release of Macallan Classic Cut, a Speyside single malt bottled at 55% in a 70cl bottle. The series carries no age statement and differs from one year to the next. The 2020 edition is a blend of whisky from old bourbon casks and casks that once held sherry. The bourbon casks bring sweetness and freshness, while the sherry casks add depth and complexity. Orange notes run through the tasting, and the finish turns to fresh thyme.
