Macallan – Classic Cut Edition 2019 (70cl, 52.9%)

Macallan Classic Cut 2019 is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, the third release in the distillery's annual limited series. It is bottled at 52.9% ABV, a strength chosen to bring out the sweetness and balance of the whisky. Leaving the whisky in the glass for 10 to 15 minutes is recommended before drinking. On the nose there are orange peel, ginger and nutmeg, balanced by sultanas and a touch of hazelnut. The palate brings sweet ginger and orange peel with soft oak, and the finish is of medium sweetness with lingering honey.
