Macallan Edition No.1 is the first release in the distillery's Edition series, bringing together whisky from eight cask types. Bottled in 2015 by Edrington Taiwan, this limited edition was produced for the 2016 Lunar New Year, with 1,500 bottles in wooden boxes.
It comes in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. The tasting profile combines European and American oak influence in a balanced palate, followed by a rich, layered finish.
