Macallan Edition No.1 is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky bottled in 2015 at 48% ABV, with an outturn of 1,500 bottles. Its maturation draws on eight European and American oak cask styles, comprising 58% butts, 23% hogsheads and 19% puncheons.
Orange and apple lead the fruity character, alongside vanilla, toffee and chocolate. Nutmeg, cinnamon and dried ginger add spice, followed by a gentle oak finish.
