The Macallan Edition series combines a selection of distilling in various oak casks embodying the mastery of whisky making which has been carried out on the Macallan estate since 1824. Every year a new edition combines a different set of casks. Edition no. 2 is Orange in colour and comes in an orange label and box, the notes on the nose are sherry, raisins, oranges and a hint of almonds, the palate is sherry and orange again, chocolate and oak with a long finish of sherry, fruit peel and oak. As complex as its combination of cask distilling.
