Macallan – Edition No. 3 (48.3%)

Macallan Edition No. 3 is a single malt bottled at 48.3% ABV, the third release in a special series that explores production, ageing and cask marriage. It was launched in 2017. The edition looks at the influence of the cask on a whisky's character. Master distiller Bob Dalgarno worked on it with the perfumer Roja Dove, combining European and American oak casks. The result is a soft, fruity whisky with a balance of citrus, vanilla, flowers and freshly cut oak.
