Macallan Edition No. 6 is a Speyside single malt, the sixth and final release in an annual limited series. The series celebrates the craft of making Macallan and the appreciation of its whisky.
This edition takes its inspiration from the natural surroundings of the distillery, in particular the nearby River Spey. It was matured in a selection of sherry casks made from American and European oak, and it is bottled at 48.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
It is described as having aromas of fresh fruit, nutmeg, chocolate and vanilla.
