Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Rich Cacao is a Speyside single malt that draws a parallel between the craft of chocolate making and the art of whisky creation. It is a limited edition, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in sherry seasoned oak casks selected to bring out rich chocolate notes. The packaging is made with cocoa shell fibres.
Dark chocolate, dried fruit, warm spice and vanilla lead the nose. The palate offers dark cocoa, dried fig, orange zest and creamy oak, and the finish is long and chocolatey, with lingering dried fruit and gentle oak.
