Macallan Rare Cask 2023 Release is a Speyside single malt bottled in 2023 at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a collaboration with Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds, built around the links between sound, aroma, flavour and colour, with wood as the shared element.
The whisky is a combination of American oak and ex-sherry European oak casks, a high proportion of them first-fill.
