Macallan Rare Cask Batch 1 2022-23 is a Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is built around the selection of sherry oak casks, and the master distiller chose each cask for this first batch.
The nose brings ripe fruit, dark chocolate and light spice, with vanilla and toasted oak underneath. The palate shows red fruit and chocolate with refined spice and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is long and warm, with aromatic oak and a trace of molasses.
