This is the 2022 release of the Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Year Old, a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for 18 years in hand-picked Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, and carries no added colour.
The nose offers dried fruit and ginger with vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with spice, cloves, orange and toasted oak. The finish is long, with dried fruit, ginger and orange peel.
