The Macallan Archival Folio 6 is a Speyside single malt from the Archival Series, bottled in late 2020 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes in a tin shaped like a book, with a booklet on Macallan's advertising from past decades.
The nose has poached pear, citrus with dried figs, and nutmeg and cinnamon over a faint oak backdrop. The palate brings orange zest, sultanas, milk chocolate and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with ginger spice and gentle chocolate sweetness.
