Macallan – The Archival Series - Folio 8 is a single malt whisky from Macallan (Speyside). Bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. The Macallan Archival Series commemorates the iconic Macallan advertising campaigns of the 1970s, 80s and 90s. With the first release being in 2015, this series is comprised of 24 individual releases. These single malts feature illustrations of a campaign accompanied by a book and digital content commemorating the vintage advertising. Presented in a book-shaped tin, this series celebrates the rich heritage of The Macallan and their iconic ad campaigns from the past. The Colossus of the Nose playfully alludes to the magnificent aroma emitted by the King of Malts, otherwise known as The Macallan. Ripe dried fruits, sweet berry compote with toffee, lemon peel, cinnamon and just a hint of anise give way to ginger, a burst of citrus and sweet oak to taste. The luxurious finish is long and rich with sweet oak spices.
